Lauren Elizabeth Gulli working outdoors with an animal at High Caliber K9s farm.
Founder, LEAD ANIMAL TRAINER & BehaviorAL Consultant

Meet Lauren Elizabeth

Lauren Elizabeth Gulli, CPDT-KA, brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience across Veterinary Medicine, Animal Training, and Behavioral Science. Her goal is simple: helping animals and their families live well together by developing pets that are calm, confident, and
dependable in everyday life.

At High Caliber K9s, Lauren works with dogs of every breed and temperament, as well as horses, farm animals, and exotic species like foxes and parrots. She believes training should fit your actual routine. Instead of endless drills, her approach focuses on clear communication, consistency, and healthy boundaries that make sense to the animal.

Operating from a 24-acre Farm in Englewood, Tennessee, Lauren uses open space, natural farm distractions, and everyday situations to teach focus and impulse control—turning stressful moments into lasting reliability.

Our Home, Not a Kennel

Our Facility

We do not have a large boarding kennel. No cold, sterile white walls or extended stays in wire runs with hard, concrete floors. We believe real training happens in a real, home environment. Welcome to our 24 acre Farm in Englewood, TN. We are located conveniently right between Knoxville, TN and Chattanooga, TN.

When you Train or Board with us, your pet becomes part of our family. They live in our home with us and receive the same level of TLC and enrichment we give our own pets! We only work with a select few pets at a time for this reason, allowing us to give each of them the 1:1 attention they deserve!

We are very selective about the clients we work with. We do not work with everyone. We often are operating on a waitlist basis, but we believe it's critical in making sure everyone receives the same standard of care.

Some Things You Can Expect From Our Facility:

24-Acre Farm: Plenty of room to romp and run, miles of wooded trails to explore on pack walks, so many farm friends to meet, and lots of new distractions to work on training around!

Making Feeding Time Fun: We don't believe in just giving pets fresh food and water daily. That's the bare minimum. We make feeding time fun with fun feeders and puzzle toys.

Regular Potty Breaks: We offer regularly scheduled potty breaks every 2-3 hours, keeping your pet's routine as close to their routine at home as possible.

Security Is Our #1 Priority:: In 15+ years, we have never had a dog escape or become injured in our care. We always walk dogs on-leash (with exceptions made only for advanced training clients).

Huge Variety of Toys: We are constantly investing in and rotating a variety of toys through our home and play areas including tugs, foraging toys, puzzles, squeaky toys, and more!

Experienced Veterinary Technician:: Lauren's work in Veterinary Medicine allows her to recognize and respond quickly and efficiently to the first signs of a medical emergency—which can be life-saving.

Agility Obstacles: When we have nicer weather, we have access to a variety of agility games we can set up right here on our property to play and practice with!

Daily Report Cards & Pupdates: We pride ourselves in communication! We provide daily report cards, as well as plenty of regular updates and pictures.
